Method

  1. Step 1Roast the vegetables20 min

    Slice the bell pepper, zucchini, and tomatoes. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast in the oven at 200°C until tender and lightly charred, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. Step 2Roll the pizza dough

    Divide the pizza dough into two portions and roll each into an oval or rectangular shape, about 5mm thick.

    Work on a lightly floured surface to prevent sticking

    Grill or bake each piece of dough until lightly golden and cooked through with charred spots on both sides.

    A hot grill or grill pan creates the best char marks

  4. Step 4Assemble the sandwich

    Spread basil pesto over one side of each grilled dough. Layer the arugula, roasted vegetables, and torn burrata on top. Fold or top with the second piece of dough.

    Cut the pizza sandwich in half and serve immediately while the dough is warm and the burrata is creamy.
