Method

  1. Step 1Prepare the cabbage

    Core the cabbage by cutting out the stem at the base. Carefully hollow out the center leaves to create a cavity for the filling.

    Chop the cilantro finely. Mix the chopped cilantro into softened butter until evenly combined.

  3. Step 3Stuff the cabbage

    Season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Spread a layer of the herb butter inside the hollowed cabbage. Pack the seasoned ground beef into the cabbage cavity, pressing firmly to fill it completely.

  4. Step 4Wrap with bacon

    Lay out strips of bacon on a sheet of parchment paper in a grid pattern. Place the stuffed cabbage in the center and wrap the bacon strips tightly around the cabbage, covering the entire surface.

    Transfer the bacon-wrapped cabbage to a baking tray. Bake at 180°C (350°F) until the bacon is crispy and the cabbage is tender.

    Note

    Check the bacon halfway through and rotate the tray if needed for even browning.
