Combine ground pork and ground beef with breadcrumbs, an egg, and salt and pepper. Roll into golf-sized meatballs, making 16 to 18 meatballs total.
NoteYou can buy meatballs from the supermarket if you prefer, but homemade ones are much tastier. Turkey or chicken meatballs work too.

Fry the meatballs until golden brown and cooked all the way through.
NoteThe pork provides fat and flavor while the beef gives color and helps the meatballs hold their shape.
- Étape 3Make the pesto
Combine basil, pine nuts, garlic, olive oil, parmesan, salt, and pepper in a food processor until smooth and chunky.
NoteYou can buy pesto from the store, but making it from scratch is much better.

Cook the pasta according to package directions. Reserve some pasta water before draining.

Toss the pasta with the pesto and meatballs. Add cream and extra pasta water to make the sauce nice and saucy.
NoteDon't be shy with the cream or pasta water - the sauce should be super saucy.
