  3. Step 3Arrange apple slices

Slice the apples thinly and arrange 4-5 overlapping slices in a fan pattern on top of the butter and cinnamon, creating one portion per tart (make 6 total).

    Apple
  4. Step 4Top with puff pastry

Cut puff pastry into rectangles slightly larger than each apple fan. Brush each pastry rectangle with more honey, then place honey-side-down over each apple portion, tucking the edges to seal.

  5. Step 5Bake until golden25 min

Bake the tarts at 375°F (190°C) until the puff pastry is golden brown and the honey has caramelized, about 20-25 minutes.

  6. Step 6Invert and serve

Remove from the oven and immediately invert each tart onto a plate so the caramelized apple side is on top. Serve warm.

    Note

The caramelized honey and cinnamon create a sticky glaze that holds the apples beautifully.
