Réalisation
- Étape 1Prepare the baking sheet
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drizzle with honey to create a base for the tarts.
miel - Étape 2Add butter and cinnamon
Place a pat of butter on the honey-drizzled parchment, then sprinkle cinnamon over the butter.
beurrecannelle - Étape 3Arrange apple slices
Slice the apples thinly and arrange 4-5 overlapping slices in a fan pattern on top of the butter and cinnamon, creating one portion per tart (make 6 total).
pomme - Étape 4Top with puff pastry
Cut puff pastry into rectangles slightly larger than each apple fan. Brush each pastry rectangle with more honey, then place honey-side-down over each apple portion, tucking the edges to seal.
mielpâte feuilletée - Étape 5Bake until golden25 min
Bake the tarts at 375°F (190°C) until the puff pastry is golden brown and the honey has caramelized, about 20-25 minutes.
- Étape 6Invert and serve
Remove from the oven and immediately invert each tart onto a plate so the caramelized apple side is on top. Serve warm.
NoteThe caramelized honey and cinnamon create a sticky glaze that holds the apples beautifully.
