Movie Theater Popcorn

Method

   Step 1Heat the coconut oil

   Add about 2 tablespoons of butter-flavored coconut oil to a large pot.

   Note

   Butter-flavored coconut oil gives that authentic movie theater taste better than regular butter.

   Step 2Add Flavacol and kernels

   Add 0.5 tablespoon of Flavacol seasoning salt for 6 ounces of popcorn, then add your popcorn kernels.

   Flavacol is the secret seasoning salt movie theaters use. You can find it on Amazon.

   Step 3Pop the popcorn3 min

   Put the lid on the pot and let the popcorn pop. Shake the pot while it's cooking to prevent burning.

   Note

   Keep shaking the pot during cooking for even popping and to prevent kernels from burning.

   Step 4Serve immediately

   Once the popping slows down, remove from heat and serve your movie theater-style popcorn.
