Method

  1. Step 1Prepare the glaze

    In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.

    Cook the white rice according to package instructions. Keep warm until ready to serve.

    Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place skin-side up in the hot pan. Sear for 3-4 minutes until golden.

    Don't move the salmon once it's in the pan to get a nice crust

    Flip the salmon, pour the honey sesame glaze over the fillets, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze is sticky. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

    Note

    The total cooking time is about 10 minutes for perfectly cooked salmon

    Mix mayonnaise and sriracha together to make a creamy spicy sauce.

    Adjust the sriracha amount to your preferred spice level

    Slice the cucumber thinly. Cut the avocado into slices. Chop the green onions.
